I'm trying to keep focused on the "happy ending" part (purposefully skipping past the thinking of labor and delivery part...) to when they place this baby in my arms and it's ALL OVER. phew! And I can nurse and snuggle and (go crazy with three kids) but not be PREGNANT anymore. YAYYY!!!!
I'm praying for a 38 weeker... please pray with me for that! Who knows. I have no reason to believe he/she will arrive early, but hey, a girl can dream.
The kids are getting restless because I can't take them anywhere or do anything with them... but have been remarkably patient with my limited abilites overall. I figure a couple weeks with extra movies and snacks and anything to keep them happy and quiet isn't too bad, we'll get back to a "new normal" soon enough!
Michael- my poor wonderful husband-- is exhausted, possibly more than I am. He's working his job, preparing for the upcoming class he's teaching, and often trying to do that from home these days while caring for the kids and doing all the housework. Basically he's doing his job- and mine. Needless to say, his (incredible) patience is wearing thin! This morning he said, "Let me say hello to Three-Bee..." and as he's talking to my enormous belly, he says, "you can come out now... anytime... today... tomorrow... go ahead..." haha. We're all SO READY!
Hopefully, like with Lydia, we'll post pictures and information on here as soon as we have it, so stay tuned.
In the meantime... here's my favorite pictures from Daddy's "maternity photo shoot" with me and the kids the other day... LOVE IT! I told him we should get a couple good pictures, because once he/she arrives there's no puttin' the baby back in! :)
