The Catholic Church- Why?

There's so many misconceptions today about the Catholic church...

But what is really TRUE?

We, as Catholics, are so blessed to be a part of the one true holy and apostolic faith that Jesus Christ himself founded.

Read this, if you've ever had any questions about the Catholic faith.
It's amazing. My sister described it wonderfully on this blog post of hers, and especially watch the video... very moving and makes perfect sense. It's very logical and explains the Church's history very well.

I am so happy I have found the Catholic faith.
Reading that sentence sounds silly since I am a "cradle Catholic" and was raised Catholic.
Yet, I think everyone comes to a point where they have to decide what they believe. I was blessed to be born into a loving family who taught me the truth, and then said, "Now... is this what you believe?"

As a teenager when I started asking all the "BIG questions" about God and really having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, it was in our church, our Catholic faith, that I found all the answers.
And believe me, I checked around to other churches and faiths too... I didn't take the Sacrament of Confirmation lightly.

Perhaps even more amazing- my husband is a convert to Catholicism and he has actually studied theology, the bible, and different faith perspectives in depth. He was raised in several other churches, and yet has found his home and his heart in the Catholic church....like many very knowledgeable men before him, who were also truly seeking Christ.

I feel that my husband once said it best when he said,
"Well... Jesus said He would always be with us. There's no other church, except in the Catholic church, and in the Blessed Sacrament, the Eucharist at Mass, where that is actually true."
I'm so thankful for my husband who has taught me so much and helped me grow in my faith.
Once you find the Catholic church... there's an inexplicable JOY of Christ that follows along with it. I smile just thinking about it!

Whatever is on your heart and mind, about whatever your soul is searching for... I'm praying for you today! Keep seeking Christ in all things... Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you shall find.

Love in Him,
Lisa Marie and family
