Weirdo.

So, the old man who used to live here before us, who is REALLY obsessed with his landscaping and spent 3-4 hours working on it daily when he lived here, has been driving by to "scope out" the house. Yeah... I know- creepy. I mean, we've been here for over a year now (Happy Birthday House! yay!) and we love it, except it's a little creepy that he can't just let go. I understand his missing something that he invested so much love and time in, but really... a year later? And I'm pretty sure he moved to Delaware... how often can he be just driving by beecause he's "in the neighborhood?" My neighbor across the street said she's seen him at least 4 times.

Anyway... we're going to call him and ask him to stop. To tell him that although we appreciate the beauty of his landscaping, we are going to slowly remove most of it because we have three small children and cannot take care of it all. But, I am tempted to use Laura's idea... which... is HILARIOUS...

She said maybe I should put a big posterboard in the bushes that looks like a word bubble that says,
"Why you leave us!! They never water us! I'm weed-infested! I miss the old man! I see you driving by, weirdo"
