Coat Hanger

...because lots of tiny jackets and coats (several for each child) are hard to find space for... I asked my dear husband to make us a hanger with "LOTS OF HOOKS!" and put it at a height just high enough for a 2 year old to hang her own coat up when she stands up tall ;o)
My sweet hubby got a piece of wooden chair rail, stained it with some wood stain and screwed on some hooks. Then anchored it into the wall. (The beautiful deacon's bench you see below is not made by him... but is also GREAT because the kids each have a basket they pull out and throw their shoes in whenever we come into the house!)

I wanted to post this since I know at least one friend who is hoping to get her husband to make one for their kids soon too... ;o) hehe.
Enjoy!
(p.s. Thanks hubby!)

hmmmmm....would I perhaps be that mystery friend with the husband :). I showed it to Brian this morning - thanks for posting by the way - and he said that since I mentioned it to him after my visit to your place that he's been thinking about doing it - maybe once tax season is over! We're also going to try to have a bench with the baskets like yours as well - we are such copycats!!!! -Jess
