So I had my appointment this morning at 10am. If you don't like hearing baby/childbirth information then don't continue reading... but for those of you that do...
I am SO excited because I definitely am making progress! I am 2-3cm dilated and 70-80% effaced, and she is at -2 station. Of course, I walked around like this with Josiah for a week, but I'm hoping since my body has done this once before, it won't take so long for everything to line up correctly and get moving! I am secretly hopeful that after today's "prodding" around in there (fun fun fun) I might even go into labor tonight... we'll see! I'm just excited to have made progress since last week's check. AND i've lost 3 lbs since last week! how cool is that? losing the baby weight already... pretty awesome. I've heard it's normal to lose some weight towards the end, but with Josiah I just swelled up like a balloon and gained a ton.
Speaking of Josiah, he is napping now and will probably wake in 1/2 an hour so I think I'm going to try to rest a bit. Will keep you posted upon Lydia's arrival!! That's probably going to be the next time I post anything-- so check back!
