Easter Eggs

Today we dyed Easter eggs with Josiah for the first time. He really enjoyed it! He especially enjoyed seeing what happened when we colored on them with a crayon first and then saw the design afterwards. He kept asking to dye them "blue!"... I think he liked that color best because it was dark and he could really see it right away. Enjoy the pictures!

We hope you all have lots of family fun time during this weekend and that you have a very blessed Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone!

Puddles! Puddles! Puddles!

Well, Josiah had a blast in the warm rain the other night when Mommy took him out to splash in the puddles. He rode his bike through them, attempted to sail a boat and put his "fishy" in them, and successfully covered himself in mud and muck. The true definition of a little boy. Grandpa even showed him a handful of worms... to which he replied, "Ewww" (HAHAHA) He also helped Grandpa wash the cars! Our daffodils are coming up already, so we are thanking God for that fun rain. Enjoy the pictures!

- The Walk Family

Hello Everyone!

Hello Family and Friends!

So I've tried keeping people updated with other sites, aboutmybaby.com, YouTube... but basically I just needed ONE place that I can refer everyone to for the latest Walk Family news. Since other sites have been unreliable (aboutmybaby- ugh!) and I don't really want the whole WORLD to search and see videos of Josiah (YouTube) the Walk Family is going to start keeping this "blog". I kinda thought I'd never "blog" but, I want to have one place to refer everyone to with updates.

Since I'm not on the computer all that much, I may not update this TOO often, but I'll try to keep everyone posted on the major Walk Family news as well as updates throughout this year since we certainly have a lot happening around now.

Michael is still doing well and is very happy because this week he's off of classes for Spring Break! Yay for Easter! :) He is still busy doing research and at his usual perch on the computer, but I'm looking forward to May when I will shun him from the use of the computer and make him hang out with us more... :o) Just kidding honey, just kidding. As most of you know, the jobs located in the Harrisburg PA are not going to happen, so now we are waiting to hear from MANY other jobs that Michael has applied to in the Baltimore/Washington area. He is graduating on MAY 21st... YAY MICHAEL!!!

Josiah is doing GREAT and is of course, the cutest little boy in the world. (Okay, Okay, I'm bias) :o) He is still charming everyone and is occasionally taking part in the two yr old tantrums but for the most part is very laid back like his Daddy and its great to be with him. He will be 2 on May 29th! He loves everything that goes... cars, trucks, trains, planes,... you get the idea :) He also loves candy, which is just so UNUSUAL for a little kid, I know! :o) He also loves to read books (lately the more complicated the better! too funny) and is doing well counting and learning shapes. Colors are getting boring since he's known those now for a long time... well, I guess I'll just have to start teaching him colors like "aquamarine" and "maroon"... that should be tricky! :)
Regardless, I think we'll have the kindergarden homeschool material covered by the time he's 3 or so :) We are very proud! YAY JOSIAH!

I, Lisa, am also doing well, as is our little baby walk, who is now 15 wks! We have our 20 wk ultrasound scheduled on APRIL 18th... so that is the day we should find out if we are having a BOY or a GIRL this time!!! My money is on a boy.... (sorry Grammy Ellen!) but I just don't think I'm ever going to have a girl. My Dad however, has 5 bucks on it that this baby is a girl-- so if anyone else wants in let me know. :) (All votes must be in by April 18th!) I'm enjoying teaching and have more energy lately, but am definitely starting to look and feel pregnant. My last class before Spring Break was today, so I am happy to be off until April 1st! :) YAY LISA AND BABY!

We also happily welcome to our family our new god-daughter, Megan Diane Rosenberg! She was born on Saturday May 15th, 2008. she weighed 6lbs 11 oz and was 19.5 inches. Her proud parents Jessica and Brian are enjoying her as well as her big sister Leah (who is the same age as Josiah). We are happy to get to see them this weekend and celebrate Easter with them, especially as Brian enters the Catholic church this Easter.

Please keep Michael's job and our moving situation in your prayers, we'd greatly appreciate it!

Much love to you all! God bless!
